2026-08-30 · Incremental repackaging

PATCH /assets/:id now repackages only the renditions that actually changed instead of rebuilding the whole ladder. Changing a single rung on a long asset is roughly ten times cheaper.

2026-08-11 · Per-rung media playlists

Media playlists moved from /video/hls/<asset>/<rung>.m3u8 to /video/hls/<rung>/index.m3u8, matching the segment layout. The previous paths keep redirecting until 2027-01-01.

2026-07-24 · Signed playback tokens

Playback tokens can now carry geo rules and a referrer allowlist alongside the existing TTL.

2026-07-02 · Delivery reports

New /reports/delivery endpoint exposes bytes, requests and cache-hit ratio bucketed hourly, with a 13-month retention window.
